GUIDEBOOK in Japan
The main purpose of this guidebook is to provide patent practitioners in countries outside of Japan a simple explanation of procedures for obtaining Japanese patents. This guidebook shows basic flows of the patent prosecution in the Japan Patent Office, we also point out how to deal with them for patent practitioners in various countries including the U.S. and those as members of the EPO. We hope that this guidebook will be useful for the patent practitioners in the various countries when they file a patent application in Japan.
